Expensology is a web application that was put together in 2008 to help people better manage their personal finances.

Originally developed for and by our lead developer Matt Anderton and his wife, Expensology adheres to the philosophy that actually entering your expenses on a regular basis, rather than having them imported for you, helps you actively think about your spending habits.

Expensology is meant to reveal things that your bank register cannot.
